Then again, maybe it is about you. Ask them. Why didn't they hire you? Most people will be honest. Sometimes it's things out of your control. Other candidates with more experience, for instance. Or you applied for a job that required more skills than you have. Maybe you can find a way to get that experience or those skills, but maybe you're just not right for the job yet. Sometimes, it's in your control. Were you able to explain why you are the best person for the job? Did you show them you were eager to work for them? Did you ask questions to show them you are smart and engaged? Think hard about the process and use every rejection as a way to figure out how to do better the next time.
