The most important piece of advice I can give you about dealing with your boss is to try to see the world through your boss's eyes. Your boss has goals - and has his own boss who is monitoring those goals. Your boss will be held accountable for achieving those goals. Do you know what those goals are? Do you know how your boss's performance will be evaluated? You need to know what motivates your boss and what's important to him. You need to align your interests with your boss's, and figure out how to make your boss successful. I'll tell you how to do that in the rest of this guide.
